Q. Doesn’t Bodine teach students with a wide array of learning disabilities?
A. Bodine offers a specialized, individualized program designed specifically to teach students with dyslexia and reading-related learning disabilities. We do not accept students with other learning disabilities that are outside of our focused mission.
Q. Does my child need all 6 years at Bodine in order to succeed?
A. No, the number of years at Bodine varies from student to student. Each student receives an individualized education plan (IEP) every year and is taught to his or her specific needs based on progress, performance, and assessment data.
Q. In addition to reading intervention, I want my child to have access to traditional school experiences. What does Bodine offer?
A. In most ways, Bodine looks just like any school: we offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes Math, Science, Social Studies, P.E., Art, Music, Library, and Innovation Lab. Bodine also has after-school offerings including soccer, basketball, and cheer teams and a chess club.
