The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia

Bodine School Offers Free Screening of The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia at Malco Ridgeway Cinema Grill

In Spring 2017, Bodine School parents Dr. and Mrs. Richard Hathcock offered a free screening of The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia.

The Big Picture debunks many of the common myths associated with dyslexia and features interviews with a variety of individuals with this learning disability.

A brief panel discussion followed the screening and included Dr. and Mrs. Hathcock and two members of Bodine School's leadership team: John Murphy, Head of School, and Melissa Miller-Benson, Director of Education.

Bodine School’s mission is to lead the Mid-South in teaching children with dyslexia to read and succeed. Bodine School offers a premiere, independent school experience aligned with exceptional, clinical, research-based instruction for students with dyslexia in grades 1-6, and also serves as a reading resource center for the Mid-South region.
