April 20, 2022:
Our COVID-19 protocols have been modified based upon on the CDC’s March 2022 guidelines.
Student Has a Known Exposure to COVID-19:
According to the most recent CDC publication of guidelines, exposure constitutes being within 6 feet of an infected person for 15 or more minutes collectively during a 24 hour period. If a student has a known exposure but does not have symptoms, we ask that they wear a mask at school for 5 days. If symptoms present during that time, we ask that the student stay home and get tested. Please update the school if there is a known exposure or a positive test.
Student Tests Positive for COVID-19:
If a student tests positive for COVID-19, they should stay home for 5 days followed by 5 days of wearing a mask.
Remote Learning:
Remote learning is an option for a student who will miss 3 or more days of school due to COVID-19.
Communicate known exposures and positive cases of COVID-19 by calling the Main Office at (901) 754-1800 or emailing Sheri James at sjames@bodineschool.org.
