Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program at Bodine School uses a research-based, multisensory approach to the instruction of reading and writing skills known as Orton-Gillingham (O.G.). Students receive daily O.G. instruction in classes of 10 students or fewer. As part of the O.G. approach, the elements of language are taught explicitly and systematically, and instruction is tailored to the individual needs of students.

Registration for the Summer Reading Program ends April 20. Students who will be in grades 1-6 during the 2018-2019 school year are eligible to enroll in the program. Tuition for the program is $1,100. A $300 tuition deposit is due at the time of registration, and the remaining tuition balance can be paid either in one installment (due May 25) or two installments (due April 25 and May 25). Tuition must be paid in full by May 25.

A $100 Early Bird Discount is available until March 1.

For more information about the program or assistance with registration, please contact our Admissions Office at (901) 203-3872.
