Bodine School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies upon donations to provide an excellent elementary school experience for students with dyslexia.

For over 50 years, Bodine School has been leading the Mid-South in teaching students with dyslexia. Initially intended as a boarding school, Bodine has evolved and adapted over the years to better serve the dyslexic community and the students and families who have passed through our halls. As we continue to grow and improve, so too should our building grow and improve along with us.

Coming soon! Watch us Grow.

Brand New Bathrooms – COMPLETED

The Bodine School restrooms had previously remained unchanged since the 1970s. I know what you’re thinking…finally!

Previously, the school’s restrooms consisted of two very cramped 3-stall restrooms, one each for boys and girls, and 2 large “locker room” style restrooms with 3 showers and one stall each. While this layout made sense for a small boarding school, it was less than fitting for an elementary school setting. The renovations includes the following changes and additions:

•            Removal of the “locker rooms” replaced with a large girl’s restroom with 8 stalls and 4 sinks

•            Transformation of the smaller restrooms into a large boy’s restroom with 4 stalls, 4 urinals, and 4 sinks

•            The addition of two ADA compliant adult and family restrooms

Say goodbye to the yellow!
